Full house packing or fragile-only packing
Choose full packing for general and fragile household belongings, or fragile-only packing for the selected belongings that need extra care. Tell us about kitchen glassware, crockery, ornaments and unusual items, and anything you intend to pack yourself. Specialist or particularly valuable items should be described before the visit.
A packing package based on your home
Select your property type, room count and packing package. The Handy Engine suggests box quantities and prices the packing work from those quantities, so you do not need to count every box yourself. Recommendations adjust when you change the property or rooms.
Packing materials with a separate price breakdown
Use your own suitable boxes and protection or open the packing shop. Each material has a unit price and editable quantity, with the materials subtotal shown separately from packing labour. Add extra boxes, remove items you already have or save the itemised list to compare suppliers. Any delivery arrangements are agreed before an order.
Plan packing before moving day
Include your move date and preferred packing date when you send the request. Put aside keys, medication, documents and essentials you need to keep with you. Tell us which rooms or items need priority. We’ll agree access and the order of work with you. The visit is confirmed after the request is reviewed.
Packing help with your own removal arrangements
You can request packing even if you have already arranged a removal company or will hire your own van. HandyTackle handles the agreed packing work; transport is arranged separately. Add furniture disassembly if suitable items also need taking apart.
Need help at the other end?
House move unpacking is available separately. After your belongings arrive, we can help open the moving boxes and place their contents in the rooms, cupboards and shelves you choose. Include the destination and any different date when requesting both services.

Is this packing furniture flat packs or packing for a house move?
This is packing your household belongings into moving boxes before a house move. Furniture assembly and disassembly are separate services.
Can I book packing without booking a removal?
Yes. Request the packing work on its own and arrange transport separately.
Do I have to buy your packing materials?
No. Supply your own suitable materials or choose quantities in the packing shop. Materials have a separate price breakdown.
Do I need to count all my boxes first?
No. The property details and selected packing package generate suggested quantities and the packing price. Tell us if your home has unusual amounts or specialist items.
Can I change the suggested materials?
Yes. Change quantities in the shop and save an itemised list. Suggested quantities also adjust when you change the property or room count.
